I am from Germany. I found you in another blog.I was born in 1954 and I was 6 years in a boarding school, you were 5 years.
ReplyDeleteI will read your whale book and I have read your whole blog. I couldn't stop reading because it is very interesting and wonderfully written.
I had been 6 times in Devon and Cornwall together with my husband and children. We had English friends, who lived in Newton Abbot and we celebrated two weddings of their children.
I love England and we met a lot of great people. When I was young, I also was several times in families to learn English. I am absolutly sad about the Brexit and I liked your post about the fact, that you are a remainder!!! Me too!!! :-))
I will tell all my friends about your whale book and I wish you and your wife health and happiness!! And I don't understand that not more people write a comment. I let you know my opinion about your whale book.

Thanks Ellie for your very kind comments ... we are indeed the same age, and in fact I was in boarding school for ten years so we have much in common. I do hope you enjoy Der Wal und Das Ende der Welt. Please let me know :)
